Sweating is a physiological phenomenon that acts as a defense mechanism for the body that regulates body temperature. When the glands are not stimulated, sweat is not released. Just one treatment can significantly reduce sweating of a selected body area.

The doctor decides which dose of the substance to choose for the needs of a specific therapy, depending on the individual patient’s circumstances. Botox is introduced via a micro-needle into the muscles located just below the skin.

The effect of the treatment appears very quickly (up to 7 days from its performance) and lasts for several or even several months. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
